Congrats to @polymorphic.engine for being accepted on to the google summer of code/summer of haskell programme, with an exciting proposal to work on a binary distribution of Tidal and its API:
There were a good number of tidal-related proposals, it's a real shame that more couldn't be accepted.

congrats @polymorphic.engine !
I'd be curious to read more details, it sounds like you'll be solving one of the biggest issues tidal has (ie installation barrier)?

Congratulations @polymorphic.engine ! It's a great project, and a very useful one for the live-coding community as a whole. This project will be very useful for the future of tidaling. I hope to be able to test this out with my students in a near future .
