How to get multichannel audio into DAW?

Hello
First: i love strudel and i’m totally addicted since months.
But I have a final boss that I'm really struggling with: Multichannel audio routing into Ableton for mixing/mastering.

I know about ch() and i tried it with Loopback and BlackHole on MacOS and some other virtual audio cable tools on windows.
Whatever im doing, i just see / hear two channels (1,2) outside the browser.
Browsers: Firefox, Chrome
I have read that some people seem to have gotten this to work, but without explaining how. However, I also have the feeling that it is generally not possible due to the limitations of browsers/web audio?

I would appreciate any relevant information that takes me further.

Okay, I had a blind spot there.
It works with orbit() and the “Multi Channel Orbits” checkbox in settings.
orbit(2) equals Ext.In 3/4 for example as orbit(1) is 1/2 by default.
Prerequisite: proper setup with BlackHole 16ch as main input in Ableton audio settings.
