Hi There, First Time Poster.
Problem: I downloaded and installed Tidal Cycles but wanted to see what sound effects came with the install. I found the folders containing the “.wav” files and was stuck on trying to review all 1000+ sound effects in my File Explorer in a timely manner.
Since I don’t have any music software or database software (i dont want to use them at this time), I needed a solution to review the sounds.
Solution: A Deepseek coded Python script that allows a person to review the sound files from a single click.
An example of how fast this allows a person to review the sample library is in the video below. The source code for this little quick Python Script is in the video description in a GitHub. Since it was vibe coded, I left the python script as open source and free to be reused in any manner. It can be improved upon but it made my life very simple for reviewing sound files.
