I started live-coding during COVID lockdown. I am a retired academic with a scientific background with very "loose" coding in computational chemistry. I have an interest in eclectic music - lo fi electronica distorted sampling etc. I started with Sonic Pi and found Tidal , quite different beasts in some senses. I liked the idea of algorave (my 'raving' days have gone, actually never were) and the possibility of showing 'non-musically trained' people that they can create music. Then convincing them that music doesn't have be what they think it should be. Hi !
