This post explores a cool visualization solution that works with Tidal using OSC to send to multiple targets. The Didactic Pattern Visualizer was developed by artist and creative technologist Iván Abreau using the visual development application called Processing.
The blog post gives an overview of installation/configuration and then walks through a musical piece where visualizations were used during development of rhythmically independent parts that use cross-rhythms, polymeter, and irregular beat patterns.
