Can't handshake with SuperCollider without control port

Hey,
I am trying to get started with TidalCycles, but there is no sound, and instead there is this error message.

I am pretty new to everything, so there is also a possibility that I didn't do something very obvious that is needed. Help is much appreciated!

I am using Windows10:-)

t> [TidalCycles version 1.8.0] Installed in C:\Users\vivien\AppData\Roaming\cabal\x86_64-windows-ghc-9.2.3\tidal-1.8.0 Listening for external controls on 127.0.0.1:6010 That port isn't available, perhaps another Tidal instance is already listening on that port?

t> Can't handshake with SuperCollider without control port.

Thank you!!

I am getting the same error message, although I am getting sound of tidal.
Any ideas?

This warning message is usually caused by two instances of tidal running at once, perhaps because you've added something to your boottidal.hs file. If there's no sound, that's probably due to some other cause.
