I have installed TidalCycles and SuperCollider, the docs were great and the process was smooth. I was able to get script running using Atom, etc. However, when I compare the sound of my TC compared to tutorial videos I'm watching, it sounds slightly higher pitched. I'm using the default TidalBoot and the example SuperDirt.osc script. Could this be a sample-rate mismatch?
It could be. 44100 VS 48000hz. What OS are you using? You can try different sampling rate if you have the option to choose.
Strange, that shouldn't happen, samplerate should be converted. If you could share an audio or video recording I'd be interested to hear.
