Timezones permitting (and frankly, even timezones not permitting) I'm very interested in this and BoF proposal 
Wonderful! I wondered for some time if a new conference was scheduled this year. Tell me if there is any way to get involved in the organisation / promotion, etc.. I'll try to submit a paper too!
I'm not involved in organising the conference directly, I'm sure @condeZero would be happy to hear from you though @Raph!
BTW by birds of a feather workshop I mean something like a few hours where we have a kind of miniconference with demos and discussion.
