I installed VS CODE because I wanted to use its sound browser feature, but the browser doesn't appear. I've already installed TidalCycles for VSCode. I'm supposed to set it in Sounds:Paths, but I can't find Sounds:Paths. What's wrong?
Also, what information do I need to provide to solve this problem?
@ruebo I understand the VS Code plugin has been simplified to focus on its core functionality. I think the idea is that a sound browser would be better as a separate plugin. You can install an earlier version of the plugin, though.
@yaxu1 Thank you for your reply.
When I installed the old version of the plugin, the audio browser icon was displayed.
However, even when I specified the path name of "Dirt-Samples" in sounds:paths, I got an error saying "The path you defined for loading dirt sound information does not exist:".
@ruebo the Pulsar editor plugin supports a wide range of functionalities and features. And it has a sound browser as well. You could try that out ![]()
