@yaxu@club.tidalcycles.org This is a test of me replying using my TOPLAP social account :)

@yaxu @yaxu@club.tidalcycles.org and me too! cool feature 😃

Is it possible to link my mastodon account to this forum account?

@cleary@club.tidalcycles.org I think I may have done it - this post is from mastodon...

Success, and it links past posts too -

Under profile preferences there is an ActivityPub tab:

@cleary@club.tidalcycles.org Pics dont work from Discourse to Mastodon ... checking if they work from Mastodon to Discourse:

pics don't seem to work either way :frowning:

Thanks a lot for testing things! (I merged your exploratory posts together into one for tidiness.)

Good to know that images aren't brought across, and I didn't know accounts could be linked, that's great.

Doesn't work for me, in step 4 of @cleary 's pic I put in post.lurk.org and got an error:

An error occurred: Validation failed: Scopes doesn't match configured on the server. Failed to create client

Yes I get the same problem with post.lurk.org. I think that could be down to running the hometown fork of mastodon which is quite a few versions behind. It works on social.toplap.org
