Using Cardinal VST with Tidal & supercollider

Hi all!

I am trying to use Cardinal synth to create my sound and then use it as an instrument with Tidal.
I managed to load the VST plugin in supercollider, but I cannot for the life of me create a cardinal instrument.

Two issues:

1. I don’t know how to load a patch in Cardinal vst plugin
2. when I try to open CardinalSynth, it tries to open a window which crashes because we are not running on the main thread.

How would you approach this?

Might depend what operating system you are using?

It’s relatively trivial to route midi control from tidal(→superdirt → supercollider) → VST using Pipewire and Carla on linux

Using VSTPlugin with Tidal

Background I am using VSTPlugin library in SuperCollider to load VSTi as Ugens and have them played from within Tidal using MIDI.
